Easy beef strips with fresh vegetables

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons Sweet Soy Sauce (Ketjap Manis)

- 1 teaspoon Chilli Paste Oelek

- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil

- 1 tablespoon Brown Rice Vinegar

- 1 tablespoon Sweet Chilli Sauce

350 g Strips of Beef

2 tbsp Sake or Sherry

1 Garlic clove, pressed

2 Spring onions, thinly sliced

200 g Mushrooms, sliced

1 Red bell bell pepper, finely chopped

2 Carrots, finely sliced

1 Zucchini, finely sliced

Handful of bean sprouts

Few sprigs of fresh cilantro

1 tablespoon ginger syrup

1 teaspoon sambal oelek

Preparation method for Easy beef strips with fresh vegetables

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, chilli sauce, sambal, sesame oil, ginger syrup, sake (or sherry), rice vinegar, brown sugar, and garlic and marinate the beef strips for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Fry the meat over high heat along with the spring onions. After 2-3 minutes the meat is cooked and is spooned onto a plate. Cover briefly with some aluminum foil.
  3. Fry the vegetables in a dash of rice oil for 3-4 minutes. Then add the meat and spring onions back in. If you like, you can add some more soy sauce or chili sauce.
