Spicy Szechuan dipping sauce

Ingredients

- 4 tablespoons Thin Soy Sauce Superior

- 2 tablespoons Mirin Sauce

- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil

- Garnish Crushed Chillies Extra Hot

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon ground Szechuan pepper

1 clove of garlic, finely chopped

1 teaspoon grated ginger

1 spring onion, finely chopped

chili flakes (optional, for garnish)

Preparation method for Spicy Szechuan dipping sauce

1. Start by preparing the flavorful base for the dipping sauce: In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Stir well until everything is well combined.

2. Next, add the sugar, finely chopped garlic, grated ginger, and ground Szechuan pepper. Mix everything together well so the flavors blend.

3. Slice the green onion into thin rings and add it to the sauce for extra flavor and a pop of color.

4. Want it spicier? Add chili flakes to taste and stir again.

5. Let the dipping sauce sit for a few minutes to allow the flavors to develop, then serve it with your favorite dishes like Korean BBQ. Enjoy!
