This surprising Asian version of the well-known hamburger has a lot of power and spice! Prepare all the ingredients and pile on! Enjoy this delicious Oriental surprise!

Ingredients
1 Block (dice) of fresh ginger, finely chopped
1 Onion, finely chopped
2 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
Few sprigs of fresh cilantro, finely chopped
0.5 Red pepper, finely chopped
500 g minced beef
1 Egg
Half a cucumber, sliced
2 Spring onion stalks, cut into small pieces
1 Carrot, sliced
4 Hamburger buns (ready-made)
Bag of (rocket) salad
125 g Bean sprouts
1 Tomato, sliced (optional)
Mayonnaise (optional)
Preparation method for Asian Style Burger
- very finely chop the ginger, onion, garlic and red pepper.
- Mix the ground beef with the egg, ginger, onion, garlic, chopped coriander, red pepper, panko, soy sauce and oyster sauce and form 4 to 5 nice flat burgers.
- Heat the grill or a grill pan. Meanwhile, slice the cucumber, spring onion and carrot.
- Fry the burgers until they are done and also briefly grill the burger buns.
- Once the burgers are ready, you can start building the burger. First put some (rocket) lettuce on the bun, then cucumber and carrots. Then place the burger, scallions and bean sprouts on top and finally place the other half of the bun on top.
Serve tip
Serve the Asian burger with a delicious fresh salad or homemade fries.
