Char Siu is a specialty from Hong Kong. Red marinated pork is roasted on hooks in wood-fired ovens, unfortunately this is not possible in every kitchen. Fortunately, you can prepare delicious Char Siu yourself with this recipe. Just make sure you have plenty of time to marinate the pork (2-3 hours)!

Ingredients
- 300 g Thai Hom Mali Jasmine Rice
- 300 g Mie Noodles
3 spring onions: cut up
250 g minced pork
300 g broccoli florets
Preparation method for Char Siu
- Bring 2 litres of water to the boil with a pinch of salt. Switch the heat off and leave the Chinese noodles to soak for 5 minutes in the hot water. Drain and leave covered in a dish.
- Heat the oil in a wok and fry the strips of pork steak until golden brown.
- Add the wok sauce, 1 tablespoon of water, the broccoli florets and the spring onion. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are cooked.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve with the Char Sui Chinese noodles.
