Gong Bao Chicken is a very famous Chinese dish. This is one of the dishes that is also loved by many non-Chinese people. It seems very spicy because of the ingredients, but it is absolutely not!

Ingredients
- 20 st Dried Chilli without Stem
- 2 teaspoon Garlic & Ginger Puree
- 4 tablespoon Rice Oil
- 4 teaspoon Thin Soy Sauce Superior
- 4 teaspoon Oyster Sauce (Healthy Boy)
- Handful Peanuts
4 pieces Red peppers
1 Green bell bell pepper
4 pieces Spring onions
500 g Chicken breast
Salt
2 tsp cornstarch
2 Egg white
1 tsp chicken stock
Pinch of Sugar
Preparation method for Gong Bao Chicken
- First cut the red peppers lengthwise and remove the seeds. Then cut the peppers into pieces of about 2.5 cm and then into thin strips of 1-2 mm. Cut the diced green bell pepper Cut 10 pieces of dried red chilli into 1 inch (2.5 cm) pieces Cut 2 spring onions into 1 inch (2.5 cm) pieces.
- Cut the chicken fillet into cubes. Marinate the chicken breast with 0.25 tsp salt, 2 tsp rice wine, 2 tsp cornflour, 2 egg whites and 1 tbsp rice oil. (add the oil at the end) Stir it in a bowl and let it stand for about 5-10 minutes.
- Heat the wok to a high temperature, add 3 tbsp rice oil, fry the chicken well while stirring and remove it from the pan when it is about 80% done.
- Keep the oil in the wok, put it on a low temperature and fry the garlic ginger puree and dried chilli while stirring. Then add the green pepper and red peppers and cook, stirring, until about 50% done. Then add a little bit of water.
- Season the dish with 4 tsp soy sauce, 4 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp chicken stock powder and a pinch of sugar.
- Add the chicken to the vegetables in the wok again and stir well for a few minutes over medium heat.
- Finally, add the spring onions and peanuts.
