Of Japanese cuisine, we are very familiar with sushi, but Japanese cuisine has many tasty dishes that are easy and quick to make. Just like this bowl of comfort food. You only need a few ingredients to prepare a delicious Gyudon.

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Rice Oil
- 320 g Japanese Shinode Rice
- 2 tablespoons Hon Mirin Cooking Wine 14%
- 1 tablespoon Shoyu Soy Sauce (Healthy Boy)
1 Onion
2 Spring onions
350 g Thinly sliced steak or Rib Eye
2 tsp Sugar
2 tbsp Sake
2 Eggs(optional)
Preparation method for Gyudon
- Slice the onions, thinly slice the spring onion (except for garnish) and cut the meat into small pieces.
- Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat and sauté the onions until soft.
- Add the meat and sugar and fry until no longer pink.
- Add sake, mirin and soy sauce.
- Turn the heat down and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Scatter the beef mixture over the steamed rice, top with desired amount of cooking sauce, and garnish with scallions and a raw egg yolk (optional).
Serve tip
Serve in a bowl for delicious ease of eating
