Ingredients

2.5 tbsp Sugar

2 tsp finely chopped Garlic

1 small Carrot

1 Onion

5 Shiitake

100 g Spinach

Salt and pepper to tas

Preparation method for Japchae

  1. Mix 3 tbsp soy sauce,
  2. 5 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp sesame oil, 2 tsp finely chopped garlic, 2 tsp white sesame seeds in a small bowl. Make sure that the sugar dissolves well and set the bowl aside.
  3. Soak the shiitake in lukewarm water for 30 minutes. Then remove the tip and cut the shiitake into slices.
  4. Cut the julienne carrot and the white onion into half moons.
  5. Blanch the spinach, then rinse with cold water and squeeze the liquid out of the spinach.
  6. Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the package and also rinse them with cold water and drain. Cut the noodles a bit shorter, then it is easy to mix in the sauce.
  7. Mix 2 tbsp of the sauce in the noodles. Heat the noodles in a wok for about 4 minutes and put it separately in a larger bowl.
  8. Bake the onion and shiitake in half tablespoon of rice oil for 2-3 minutes and then add to the noodles.
  9. Add the carrot, spinach and the rest of the sauce to the noodles, mix everything and your japchae is ready.
