A Korean stir-fry with octopus may sound like something you only get in Asian street food joints, but it's easy to make at home.

Ingredients
1 medium cauliflower
1 piece of red bell bell pepper
1 piece of green bell bell pepper
250g mushrooms
500g octopus tentacles
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
Preparation method for Korean Stir Fry with octopus
- For the stir-fry sauce, mix the gochujang, lemon juice, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar well in a clean bowl and set aside.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add two tablespoons of oil. Fry the octopus tentacles in the pan for about 12-15 minutes until tender. Use a fork to check for tenderness. When they are cooked, set them aside.
- Heat a wok or larger pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Stir-fry the vegetables for 2-3 minutes. Add the stir-fry sauce and fry for another 3 minutes.
- Serve the stir-fried vegetables and add the grilled octopus tentacles.
- Serve as is or with steamed rice.
Serve tip
You can omit the octopus tentacles to make the dish vegetarian.
