
Noodle salad with chicken & prawns

In Asian countries, it is very common to combine chicken and shrimp together in one dish. So too in this light, healthy and super easy to prepare dish with just the right Thai flavor combinations! And all with the well-known delicious instant noodles!

Ingredients
- 2 packages Instant Noodles Tom Yum Shrimp
- 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
1.5 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp sugar
150 g chicken in strips
150 g raw shrimp (halved)
4 small shallots: halved
few sprigs of celery leaves: coarsely chopped
1 stalk of celery
few sprigs of mint leaves
few sprigs of cilantro (optional)
Preparation method for Noodle salad with chicken & prawns
- From both packages of noodles, mix the bagged spice powder, paste and red pepper in a bowl and add lime juice, fish sauce and the sugar. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved. This is your dressing. (Note: add the red pepper to your own taste)
- In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. In it, cook the chicken and shrimp until tender. Scoop the chicken and shrimp out of the liquid with a slotted spoon and add them to the dressing, along with the shallots. Stir everything for a moment.
- Bring the liquid to a boil again and add the noodles. Turn off the heat and let the noodles stand for three minutes until cooked. Then drain the noodles and drain in a sieve.
- Mix the noodles with the chicken, shrimp and dressing with the fresh celery, celery leaves, mint leaves and optional cilantro leaves.
- Serve the noodle salad lukewarm warm.
Serve tip
Present the salad in a nice bowl or individual bowls.
