Ingredients
- 200 g Rice Sticks 10 mm (XL)
- 4 tablespoon Soy Sauce Gluten Free
- 2 tablespoon Fish Sauce Gold
- 1 tablespoon Virgin Coconut Oil
2 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
3 tbsp Liquid Honey
1 Red Pepper
500 g Stir-fried Shrimp
6 Garlic cloves
3 tbsp Butter
150 g Bean sprouts
400 g Thai stir-fried vegetables
1 Spring onion
Coriander
Preparation method for Quick gluten-free Pad Thai
- Prepare the rice noodles according to the directions on the packet.
- Meanwhile, prepare the stir fry sauce. Mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, vinegar, honey and (optional) the finely chopped red chili and set aside.
- Take your favorite wok pan and heat some coconut oil in it. While the oil is getting hot, finely chop the garlic cloves. As soon as the oil begins to smoke, your wok is ready to use. Add the shrimp to the wok and stir-fry until pink (2-3 minutes).
- Add the chopped garlic cloves and butter and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes.
- The prawns and onions are now slowly beginning to caramelize, now add the vegetables and stir-fry until al dente.
- Finally add the rice noodles and the sauce. Fry while stirring until the pasta has absorbed the sauce.
- Complete! Serve the pad thai immediately, otherwise the noodles will be too limp.
Serve tip
add fresh cilantro and a chopped spring onion as a finishing touch.
