Sticky Shiitake with noodles

This sticky shiitake is the perfect version of sticky chicken when you choose a vegetarian option for a change. The meaty texture of the shiitake goes wonderfully with the sweet, sauce and is delicious with both noodles and rice.

Ingredients
- 2 - 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Sweet Soy Sauce (Healthy Boy)
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 theelepel Sriracha Chilli Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Roasted White Sesame Seeds
- 85 g Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
- 1 noodle nest Quick Cooking Noodles
1 spring onion
1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
Preparation method for Sticky Shiitake
- Soak the dried shiitake mushrooms in warm water for about half an hour. Meanwhile, prepare the marinade with soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, sesame oil, and sriracha and set it aside.
- Cook the noodles until they are done according to the instructions on the packaging.
- Pat dry the soaked shiitake mushrooms and sauté them in a frying pan. Then add the marinade and sauté briefly. Add half a teaspoon of cornstarch to make the sauce slightly thicker and stickier.
- Serve the noodles on a plate and spoon the sticky shiitake over them.
- Slice a spring onion into pieces a few centimeters long and cut the ends into rings.
- Garnish with the sliced spring onion and sesame seeds.
