Pokébowls are hip. Sushi is still hip. Behold: the Sushi Bowl! You can of course vary this fresh and light meal with any variation you can think of, which is exactly what makes Pokébowls so fun and surprising! In this bowl, we use shrimp fried in Panko and fresh salmon!

Ingredients
- 125 g Japanese Shinode Rice
- to taste Roasted Black Sesame Seeds
- 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
- to taste Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1 tablespoon Sweet Chilli Sauce
- 3 tablespoon Peanut Oil
1 Avocado
100 g Sugar Snaps
1 large carrot
100 g smoked salmon cubes
100 g large shrimp
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 Egg
3 Tbsp. Flour
Preparation method for sushi bowl
- First cook the sushi rice according to the instructions on the package. Let the rice cool down to room temperature, then mix in 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar.
- Blanch the snow peas. Wash the carrots and cut into thin strips. Remove the skin from the avocado and cut into thin slices.
- Bread the shrimp. Coat the shrimp in flour first, then place in a bowl with beaten egg. Finally, dip the prawns in the panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat peanut oil in a wok or skillet and fry the panko shrimp until crispy and golden brown. Drain the shrimp on kitchen paper.
- Dice the fresh salmon.
- Mix a sauce from the mayonnaise and the chili sauce.
- Take some bowls and divide the sushi rice into the bowls. Then spread the carrots, the avocado strips, the sugar snap peas, the shrimp and the fresh salmon pieces on top.
Serve tip
Drizzle with the chili sauce and garnish with sesame seeds and cilantro, if desired.
