TRS Chana Dal (Peeled Chick Peas) are ideal for the preparation of authentic Indian dishes without meat. Compared with brown chickpeas, yellow chickpeas are somewhat mealier and cook faster. Use the peas for the preparation of palak chana dal (dish of chick peas and spinach) and lauki chana dal (stew with bottle gourd). Boiled TRS Chana Dal (Peeled Chick Peas) are also excellent for preparing fine chickpea flour and use it as an ingredient for Indian desserts (besan halwa, besan bundi).
