Indonesia's national dish on the table in no time? Nasi Goreng is nowadays impossible to imagine any kitchen without it. A large pan of Nasi Goreng is also ideal when you are expecting lots of diners, just double the ingredients!

Ingredients
2 Onions diced
2 Cloves of garlic
200 g Chicken breast diced
3 Carrots cut in cubes
Handful of green peas
100 g Prawns: pealed
1 Stem spring onion
Preparation method for Nasi Goreng
- Cook the rice in boiling water with a little salt for about 12 minutes. Drain the rice and allow to cool.
- Heat the oil in a wok and fry the onion and garlic on a low temperature.
- Add the chicken dices and cook till golden brown.
- Add the spice paste and stir-fry for about 1 minute.
- Now the vegetables can be added and stir-fry for 3 minutes.
- Add the cooled rice and also the prawns and spring onion. Stir-fry for another few minutes and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve tip
Prawn crackers are a great addition to this dish.
