Sate Lilit is a traditional Balinese dish made with sereh (lemongrass) and minced chicken. There are many variations of this but all using chicken, sereh and cilantro as a base. You can grill or grill the satay on the barbecue. You can combine the satay with nasi goreng, mie goreng or delicious on its own as a snack on a stick.

Ingredients
1 Onion
3 Garlic cloves
1 red Pepper
1 bunch of Coriander
500 g Minced Chicken
1 tsp Sugar
1 Egg
Preparation method for Sate Lillet
- . 1 Chop the lemongrass, onion, garlic cloves, red pepper and coriander and chop in a food processor.
- Mix this with the chopped chicken. Add fish sauce, sugar, white pepper, egg and panko and mix well.
- For the remaining lemongrass stalks, shred the end (this will release more flavor).
- Use about 2 tablespoons of ground chicken and squeeze around a lemon stalk.
- Take a piece of cling film and wrap the stalk in it. Repeat the process until you have no more stalks or ground beef.
- Place the prepared stalks in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
- Grill or gratinate the Sate Lilit for 10 minutes.
